Google Fit – Activity Tracker (Android or iOS)
Disclaimer: Google Fit is designed for Androids. If you choose to use it on an iPhone, you will need to let it sync with your Health app when prompted

Allows you to set daily goals and to monitor “Heart Points”
Once downloaded, Google Fit will show your steps on the home screen along with your heart points
Fun fact: It was developed with the American Heart Association
How to Track
Android: 1) Tap + > Track workout 2) Select the activity you are about to start, tap down arrow 3) Tap start workout
iPhone: 1) On the bottom, tap Profile 2) Tap Settings 3) Under “Activity Tracking” tap Track your activities with Health 4) Let Google Fit access Health
6. To record steps through this app: Screenshot your beginning and ending step count (on home screen) each time you set out on a walk or run. Then, subtract the end total from the beginning to see how close you made it to 6,250 steps!
